DESCRIPTION

The Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso is a legend that arose from a practical need. In the early 1930s, a group of Polo players asked César de Trey, a watch dealer, to create a timepiece robust enough to survive to the brutality of their sport; a request that César de Trey sent to Jacques-David LeCoultre. René-Alfred Chauvot, the French engineer in charge of the development of this new watchcase, didn’t use a protective grill on the top of the watch (a process used for WW1 military watches.) Instead, he designed a reversible case in order to protect the fragile dial and glass of the watch.

This Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is in really good condition. It has an elegant appearance with reversible rectangular case and screw-down back. Black dial, guilloche pattern in the centre, arabic numerals and sword hands. Original, steel bracelet with double steel folding clasp signed Jaeger-LeCoultre. The back case is intact, no engraving on it.

The movement is an original, automatic JLC movement, caliber 960R with 31 jewels. Movement is in perfect running condition, runs strong – keeps time.

Watch comes with its warranty papers, box (inner and outer), manuals and of course our dealer invoice.

Delivery is free of charge within Hungary. International delivery is 75 EUR for Europe and 110 EUR for rest of World. We use DHL express service which usually means next day delivery within EU. Any orders received after 2 pm on a Thursday will be despatched the following Monday.

If you are ordering from a country outside of Europe you may be liable to pay import duties from customs.  You are responsible for additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.  Customs policies vary widely from country to country, you should contact your local customs office for further information.

All our watches are packed in a protective box and wrapped in bubble wrap.Please note that a signature will be required on delivery of goods.

You will receive a delivery confirmation by e-mail, which will include your tracking number.

RETURNS

We hope that you love your new watch, but if you wish to return it we are happy to offer an exchange or returnsd within 14 days from receipt of the watch. The watch must be returned to us in the original packaging and in the same condition as it left us, otherwise we will not be able to refund your money. We are unable to offer any exchanges or refunds on items that are scratched, damaged!

Please do not use the leather strap until you are completely sure you want to keep the watch, otherwise we will have to charge you for the cost of the strap.

The watch should be returned by a tracked and insured method, please take out adequate insurance.
